Online cask spirits marketplace Caskshare has agreed a new fulfilment partnership with Edinburgh-based online drinks specialist, Flavourly.

The new Fulfilled By Flavourly deal will see Flavourly provide logistics, packaging and courier relationships for Caskshare’s growing whisky community and retail services.

Since its launch earlier this year, Caskshare has been bringing an array of specialist casks to the market, revolutionising the way that consumers engage with distilleries and cask owners to experience maturing single cask whiskies, a bottle at a time. Meaning whisky lovers can enjoy and build a portfolio of cask spirits at a fraction of the price of an entire cask.



With the global Scotch Whisky sector nearly doubling with a 6% CAGR over the next 10 years, Caskshare’s democratisation of single casks lowers the threshold of entering early into the niche market. The Edinburgh based business has, in the 10 months since launch, had over 23k unique visitors with almost 40 casks and 10k bottles listed on the platform.

Flavourly launched their Fulfilled By Flavourly service earlier this year, with behemoth Innis & Gunn one of the first users. The Fulfilled By Flavourly model sees drinks brands benefit from Flavourly’s logistics expertise, established courier relationships and award winning service reputation. The Fulfilled By Flavourly fulfillment service helps brands to increase capacity without increasing service costs.

Caskshare is opening up the often-intimidating world of single cask whisky and making cask owning available to all. The whisky provider will continue their customer relations and the running of their website, but the new partnership will allow Caskshare to focus on its online curation of whiskies and community building while Flavourly manages courier and logistical services.
