Campbell’s Prime Meat joins Sysco family in landmark acquisition
Foodservice provider Sysco GB has acquired Scottish meat and fish supplier Campbell’s Prime Meat.
Campbell’s Prime Meat currently employs 325 people at its Linlithgow site in Scotland. It has built a strong reputation over the past 100 years, providing top quality meat, fish and deli products to food businesses and consumers in Scotland and through online sales across the UK.
The acquisition will strengthen Sysco’s presence in Scotland and provide Campbell’s Prime Meat with access to a wider market.

Campbell’s Prime Meat will continue to operate as a separate business but will now have the support and strength of Sysco which will bring opportunities for a broader range of products for the enlarged Sysco GB group and access to new customers within the Sysco ecosystem.
