Caledonia Housing Association appoints directors of finance and operations

Caledonia Housing Association (CHA) has appointed two new executive directors to its leadership team.

Peter Fotheringham joins CHA as executive director of finance and will be responsible for finance and treasury management, IT and business improvement. He is a Chartered Accountant and is currently director of finance at the University of Dundee.

His previous roles have included head of finance at Highland Spring Group, group financial controller at DC Thomson and a number of senior finance positions at Edrington Group.



Mr Fotheringham said: “Caledonia Housing Association has an excellent reputation and a clear vision to provide homes and services which make life better.

“This is a purpose I am passionate about and I am delighted to be joining the team at CHA and look forward to playing my part in helping to ensure its future success.”

Jill Fraser has been appointed as executive director of operations and will oversee customer service, new build development, investment and regeneration, and support services. Ms Fraser joins CHA from Manchester Airports Group where she is the transformation programme delivery director, with responsibility for expanding the airport, driving business growth and enhancing and personalising the customer experience.

Having held a number of senior operations roles across the UK and Australia, She has an extensive and successful background in strategic leadership, business strategy, programme management and transformation.

Ms Fraser and Mr Fotheringham will take up their positions with CHA in mid-October. 

Ms Fraser said: “I am delighted to be joining CHA at such an important time for social housing in Scotland. I’m looking forward to contributing to the future strategy of CHA and supporting the team to create positive change for our customers, fostering more sustainable, stronger communities across the country.”
