Business Gateway boosts Aberdeen wedding company

The scheme, which uses European funding to offer business advice and support, has enabled the company to employ its first permanent, team member.

Laura Gonzalez will be working on bespoke and more intimate weddings for Timeless White Wedding Planning’s clients including Scottish and International couples who have chosen to take their vows in Scotland.

Emma Matthews, director of Timeless White Wedding Planning, said: “In the last six months, the business has gone from strength to strength and the support and guidance available from the Business Boost programme delivered by Business Gateway has helped inspire me with invaluable ideas, support and confidence in the direction of my businesses and growth plan.

“Business Boost has been instrumental in giving me the courage to take the next steps to grow Timeless White to its full potential and I’m delighted to have a new team member on board. Laura will primarily be working with our smaller, bespoke weddings helping couples to curate all the perfect details that are so on trend at the moment.”

In addition to adding a permanent team member, Timeless White will also recruit two Public Relations (PR) students from Robert Gordon University (RGU) for a three-month long internship. The company attends prestigious events and Emma joined some of the best wedding planners in the world at well-known industry conference the ‘Destination Wedding Planners Congress’ in Dubai earlier this year.

Emma added: “RGU have a great placement scheme and I make sure that students who come to Timeless White get real experience in developing our brand social media strategy, copy writing press releases and blog content and participating in bridal photoshoots.

“I’m really excited to galvanise the new team in taking Timeless White forward into its next exciting phase.”
