BTO posts 16.9% jump in profits to £6.37m
BTO Solicitors LLP has posted profits of £6.371 million, representing a 16.9% increase, for the 2023/2024 financial year.
The law firm’s latest Companies House filing shows turnover reached £19.575m, a 6.9% increase, for the same period.
Earlier this year, the firm undertook a governance restructure which produced a new, streamlined management board, comprising managing partner Grant Hunter and Caroline Carr as chair, along with partner Lesley Gordon, and chief operating officer David Walker.
Also during 2024, BTO made a number of key partner appointments including three external hires and the promotion to partner of home-grown senior lawyers.
Coinciding with the lodging of its accounts, the management board unveiled its strategic business plan for the firm for the next five years.
Mr Hunter said: “This is a really exciting time for the firm as we embark on the next phase of our development, building on our recent success and driving our strategic business plan, with its focus on high performance, growth and maintaining a positive and supportive culture.
“Our people and our clients are our primary concern. Among our key considerations are the development of BTO’s market profile in each of our practice areas, fostering strong relationships with our clients and ensuring outstanding service delivery, whilst at the same time driving growth through diversification in our client base, which our enlarged partner group will continue to deliver.”
BTO is also rolling out a brand refresh and launching a new website.
