BR-DGE boost Polani Travel's checkout choice in new partnership

Edinburgh-based payment orchestration provider BR-DGE has formed a new partnership with e-commerce firm Polani Travel.

Polani Travel offers travel products and services including flights, hotels and holiday packages.

The partnership will equip Polani Travel and its flightcatchers.com business with the latest in payment orchestration technology in order to deliver a first-class, seamless online checkout experience for customers. The e-commerce company will have access to BR-DGE’s platform of over 300 payment and technology providers via a single point of integration.

The family-run business, established in 1965, operates flightcatchers.com which is an IATA-accredited agent offering flights and holidays for UK travellers. As the company makes the transition to a multi-acquirer strategy, it will be able to route traffic and utilise data insights to drive informed decisions for its payment stack.

Recent BR-DGE research found that only 5% of consumers have previously used Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) for purchasing holidays, but consumers are increasingly looking for flexibility at the checkout, as nearly half of consumers shopping for travel and holidays (42%) are open to using flexible payment solutions, such as instalment payment options or BNPL solutions in the future.

Polani Travel is working to meet this demand for alternative payment methods, with the partnership serving as a demonstration of the business’s commitment to investing in cutting-edge technology in order to deliver a simple and hassle-free online experience.
