A new partnership between international investment group BennBirdge and the former Janus Henderson chief Glen Finegan will see new asset manager company Skerryvore Asset Management open in Edinburgh.
Mr Finegan left his role as head of emerging market equities at Janus Henderson earlier in 2019.

BennBridge is part of the BFM Group, which is owned by Australian parent company Bennelong Funds, which has a total of $8 billion in assets under management.
Mr Finegan said: “I chose BennBridge for its proven success in partnering with quality asset managers, as well as a clear alignment of interests. I am committed to continuing to invest according to my established philosophy and process and am please this fits so well with the BennBridge business.”
Craig Bingham, Bennelong chief, added: “Glen is a manager with an outstanding reputation built over many years, with an enviable track record. Our partnerships are key to our business, and our model reflects this. It is a testament to the strength of the multi-boutique hotel model the business continues to attract partners of Glenn’s calibre.
“While each of our boutiques have their own distinctive philosophy and approach, they all believe in the benefits of active investment management. They are all majority owners of their business and most invest in their own funds.”
