AXA Glasgow staff take to the phones for Red Nose Day

From 6.30pm till midnight, the office will become a Red Nose Day call centre, with volunteers from the AXA Business Insurance team taking calls from the public.

The Glasgow team will also be raising money for Red Nose Day with a selection of fun and games, including a raffle, featuring a signed Celtic Football Club shirt, swingball and a tombola. In addition, five brave male members of staff will take part in a sponsored leg waxing.

Event organiser, Angela Davis, customer operations manager at AXA Business Insurance, said: “We are delighted to be part of Red Nose Day and we look forward to raising as much as we can for an excellent cause.

“The AXA team in Glasgow is always keen to get involved in charity work and we look forward to taking as many public donations for the cause as we can.”

Comic Relief was launched in 1985 with the aim of driving positive change through the power of entertainment, so far it has raised more than £1 billion for good causes.
