Audit Scotland accountants feature in Top 100 Young Chartered Accountants
Four Audit Scotland accountants have been named in this year’s ICAS (the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) Top 100 Young Chartered Accountants (CAs) list.
Adam Haahr, Marta Kuźma, Sobhan Afzal and Wojciech Kuzma have all been named on the 2020 list as part of a global competition. The list is ICAS’s annual showcase of the best and brightest CAs in the world of accounting, finance and business.
Adam joined Audit Scotland in 2016 as a CA and is an audit manager. Marta, Sobhan and Wojciech began their careers at Audit Scotland as trainees before qualifying as CAs and are all senior auditors.
The CAs selected in this year’s list all faced an anonymous and rigorous judging process focused on finding young professionals who are outstanding in their field. An overall winner – the One Young CA 2020 – will be chosen from the Top 100 list in October.
Fiona Kordiak, director of Audit Services, Audit Scotland, said: “Everyone at Audit Scotland is delighted for Adam, Marta, Sobhan and Wojciech. It is a fantastic achievement to be selected for the ICAS Top 100 Young CAs, and testament to their talent, professionalism and dedication.
“As Scotland’s public sector auditor and the largest public sector accountancy training scheme in the country, it’s extremely rewarding to see our colleagues and former trainees progress in the organisation and be recognised in such a prestigious list.”
