Artisanal Spirits Company celebrates multiple award wins
The Artisanal Spirits Company, owner of whisky brands including The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), has received recognition at top international spirits competitions in 2024.
SMWS alone secured a record-breaking six gold and one silver medal at the International Spirits Challenge, eight medals at the Scotch Whisky Masters, and further recognition at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the International Wine and Spirits Competition.
The company’s gold award-winning entries included Cask No. 36.220: From raisins to resins and Cask No. 42.85: A mug of mulled miso.
The company’s other brands also shone, with J.G. Thomson securing five medals at the Global Spirits Masters and the recently acquired Single Cask Nation (SCN) being named 2024 Independent Bottler of the Year by World of Whiskies. SCN also won accolades at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Las Vegas Spirits Awards.
