Aon celebrates three Glasgow finalists in Women in Pensions Awards
Three members Aon plc’s Glasgow office pensions team have been named finalists in the prestigious Women in Pensions Awards.
The professional services firm is celebrating the shortlisting, and in total, 40 Aon colleagues have been shortlisted nationwide.
The Women in Pensions Awards are focused on appreciating the remarkable achievements of women in the sector as they push to improve the industry for all. Those shortlisted have been nominated by peers within the sector in recognition of being a trailblazer, for going above and beyond, or for being an inspiring newcomer.
In Glasgow those shortlisted are Alana Corbett, Alison Murray and Anisha Gill.
Anisha Gill, senior investment consultant at Aon, said: “It’s an honour to have been nominated for these awards alongside so many talented colleagues and women in the industry.
“Recognition for the accomplishments of the diverse and dynamic female talent in the sector is not only a cause for celebration, but also ensures we continue to make the industry as open and flexible as possible so that it is a more sustainable industry for all.”
The finalists will now answer a series of questions to support their nomination before the shortlist is revealed, and winners are announced at a black-tie awards ceremony in November of this year.
