Ms Smith said: “Gilliland and Company has an excellent reputation for their level of service and expertise and I am excited to be part of its future growth.
“As well as assisting clients with statutory accounts and tax reporting, I have extensive experience in preparing management accounts, analysing and interpreting this information, and assisting in strategic decision making.”
She added: “I provide advice to owners, shareholders, and financial stakeholders on how to monitor their financial performance, maximise their cash flow, use budgetary controls, and grow their business.
“I have worked with a wide range of sectors including construction, architectural services, property development and rental, retail, wholesale, and dentistry.”
“I am very much looking forward to working with Richard and the team to continue to grow the firm in the coming years.
“The firm is committed to providing exemplary service and I am particularly keen to be part of Richard’s celebrated quarterly lunches in the boardroom where clients, advisers, and other interested parties can meet and exchange views in an informal setting. It is this attention to detail that makes all the difference to clients.”
