Angus teenagers cultivate agricultural knowledge at EQ Accountants farming conference

Funded by the conference sponsors EQ Accountants, Bell Ingram, Royal Bank of Scotland and Thorntons Law, pupils from Carnoustie High, Arbroath High and Webster’s High Schools joined around 120 other delegates at the 15th Farming Scotland Conference which was held at Carnoustie Golf Hotel and Spa on Thursday 8 February 2018.

Pupils attending included Callan Batchelor, an S3 pupil from Carnoustie High School, and S6 pupils from Arbroath High School, Suzanne Millar and Oliver Hayes Reekie.

They were joined by a range of S3 and S4 pupils from Webster’s High School in Kirriemuir, namely Sol Johnstone, Struan McKay, John Davison, Liam Mustard, John Shanks and Murray Wills.

The pupils are looking to pursue an agricultural career or apply for a rural college course.
