And finally… urine trouble
The November 26 incident, which took place on a flight from New York to New Delhi, has landed Shankar Mishra in hot water.
Mr Mishra, who is said to have been the vice president of the Well Fargo’s operations in India, was terminated after the 72-year-old co-passenger complained to Air India’s management
In a statement which did not name Mr Mishra, Wells Fargo said: “Wells Fargo holds employees to the highest standards of professional and personal behaviour and we find these allegations deeply disturbing.
“This individual has been terminated from Wells Fargo. We are cooperating with law enforcement and ask that any additional inquiries be directed to them.”
However, in a statement released by his lawyers, Ishanee Sharma and Akshat Bajpai, Mr Mishra claims to have already settled the matter and compensated the woman when the incident occured, NDTV reports.
It said: “The WhatsApp messages between the accused and the lady clearly show that the accused had got the clothes and bags cleaned on November 28 and the same was delivered on November 30.
“The lady’s persisting grievance was only with respect to the adequate compensation being paid by the Airline for which she has raised a subsequent complaint on December 20.”
