A lost watercolour by JMW Turner has been sold at auction for £96,000.
The painting of Hampton Court in Herefordshire, was found “stuck among” a number of other paintings at Kinsham Court located nearby.
It is believed that the painting had been forgotten over time, BBC News reports.
The artwork was sold to an unknown phone bidder who will pay an extra 30% on top of the price in fees and taxes.
The piece was sold by Minster Auctions yesterday.
