And finally… spot the difference
A woman is locked in a legal battle with Camelot, the National Lottery operator, over a mere £10 or a life-changing £1 million National Lottery prize.
Joan Parker-Grennan bought an Instant Win Game ticket in 2015, and due to a “technical issue,” her screen showed both a £10 and a £1 million win. She’s now asking a High Court judge to decide whether she’s getting chump change or a champagne lifestyle.
Camelot claims their computer system predetermined her prize to be £10, but Ms Parker-Grennan’s legal team says she’s owed the full million.
The two sides are duking it out, and the judge will have to decide whether Ms Parker-Grennan hit the jackpot or just scored a fancy lunch.
