And finally… rough seas
A £65m superyacht, linked to a sanctioned Russian oligarch, has been put up for auction in Gibraltar attracting 63 bids.
The 72.5-metre superyacht, Axioma, was detained by the Gibraltar government in March following sanctions affecting the owner, billionaire Dmitry Pumpyansky, The Guardian reports. The superyacht is said to be able to sleep up to 12 guests in six luxurious guest cabins, and features a swimming pool, a 3D cinema room, gym, jacuzzi and spa.
Regarding the sale, a statement from the Office of the Admiralty Marshal in Gibraltar said: “The successful bidder will be selected by the Admiralty Marshal but details of the bidder and the value of the offer will remain confidential.
“Details about the sale value of the vessel will be made available once the transaction has been completed which could take place in approximately 10 to 14 days.”
