And finally… penny dreadful

An unofficial White House gift shop is selling $100 coronavirus commemorative coins to mark the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.

And finally... penny dreadful

The White House Gift Shop website has said that 100% of the profits made from selling the coins will be donated to ‘five major COVID-19 research hospitals’, but the store did not detail which hospitals these would be.

The coin is the eleventh in its ‘historic moments’ collection and features a virus molecule on one side and the White House press briefing stage on the other.

The second side - the ‘COVID-19 Task Force’ - features the names of the key White House coronavirus task force figures President Donald J. Trump, Vice President Michael R. Pence, Secretary S. Mnuchin, Dr. Jerome Adams, Dr. Deborah Birx and Dr. Anthony Fauci around the presidential podium.

Prospective buyers will be charged $100 for one of the 1,000 coins minted with the special design.
