The original Jawa character with a vinyl cape from the first group of 12 Star Wars figures ever made in early 1978, was sold at Excalibur Auctions in Kings Langley.

The owner of the figures gave the auction house three figures to sell from the same time series and the other two - one of the sand people and a stormtrooper - sold for £600 and £300 respectively, BBC News reports.
