And finally... jurassic jackpot

A dinosaur’s skeleton has been sold for $44.6 million (£34m) at a Sotheby’s auction in New York City.

The sum is the most ever paid for a fossil.

The stegosaurus which has been nicknamed Apex, is 11ft (3.4m) tall and 27ft long from nose to tail.

Sotheby’s said that Apex “ranks high among the most complete skeletons ever found”.

The fossil was sold to an anonymous buyer based in the US, BBC News reports.
