And finally… heavy metal

Black Sabbath guitarist Tony lommi has raised over £19,000 for the NHS by auctioning off personal items including one of his guitars.

And finally... heavy metal

His guitar sold at the auction for £11,300, with other items up for sale raising just under £8,000 for University Hospitals Birmingham.

Mr lommi said coronavirus was “difficult for everyone” but showed the “great work” of the NHS.

The trust previously said it was “incredibly grateful” for his support, BBC News reports.

Mr lommi, who is a patron of the specialist cancer ward at Heartlands Hospital, said he came up with the idea for the action while he was clearing out his music studio during self-isolation.
