The card, launched for South Korean clientele in partnership with KB Kookmin Card and American Express, is embedded with the tech behemoth’s SmartThings Find technology, enabling users to trace its physical location through Samsung’s IoT platform.

By pairing the card with a Galaxy smartphone, customers can monitor its whereabouts via Bluetooth Low Energy, whether at home or overseas, and receive notifications if the card drifts beyond a set distance, Finextra reports.
