Glasses belonging to UK comedy legend Eric Morecambe have sold for £20,000 at auction.
The sale exceeded their estimate of £2,000 to £4,000.
A huge lot of showbiz memorabilia and personal items from the comedian’s former home, in Hertfordshire, had been put up for sale.
The auction followed the passing of his widow, Joan, at the age of 97 in March last year, BBC News reports.
