Over 120 items of musical equipment belonging to rock musician Jeff Beck have been sold at auction for £8.7 million.
Beck rose to fame as a member of The Yardbirds, which also featured Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page.
The collection of guitars, amps and pedals sold for more than eight times the pre-sale estimate.
The items were sold at a Christie’s auction in London yesterday, with bids received from 40 countries, BBC News reports.
