TV network Univision said its reporter and cameraman were preparing to film in Chicago on Monday morning when they were suddenly approached by three armed and masked men in two vehicles.

The robbers demanded money from the two men before stealing their camera and other filming equipment, the Chicago Sun Times reports.

Another TV news crew was robbed in Chicago earlier this month, prompting calls from a local journalists’ union for safety measures to be put in place.

Chicago police said they are continuing to investigate a recent string of armed robberies.
