The luxury abode located in San Francisco’s Russian Hill neighbourhood, was said to once be the most expensive listing in San Francisco, boasting a “Batcave” garage with a turntable, infinity pool, and private garden. However, the lawsuit alleges these features suffer from pervasive shoddy workmanship, including a leaking pool that caused extensive water damage and mold.

The lawsuit alleges developer Troon Pacific of misrepresenting the property’s condition and failing to hire qualified contractors. Altman is seeking unspecified damages, with repairs estimated at over $4m (c. £3.1m), The San Francisco Standard reports.

This isn’t Troon Pacific’s first legal battle, as the developer was recently ordered to repay $48.1m (c. £37.2m) to investors in another failed project.
