Two historic Delftware plates owned by a family in Devon have been sold at auction for over £20,000.
The plates are rare and date from the 17th Century. They depict King James II and a Chinese figure standing in a rocky landscape.
The plates were sold separately for £12,600 and £7,560, including buyers’ premiums, at Woolley & Wallis auctioneers on Wednesday, BBC News reports.
