And finally… a bone to pick
Auction house Christie’s is set to auction a Deinonychus dinosaur skeleton in New York this week.
The Deinonychus antirrhopus skeleton is estimated to sell for between $4 million and $6 million, Artnet News reports.
The skeleton was found in a good state of preservation at Wolf Canyon, Carbon County, Montana, several years back. It is said to be the most complete and definitive version of the Deinonychus antirrhopus skeleton in existence.
The skeleton belongs to the Early Cretaceous period about 115-108 million years ago.
