Alexander Sloan moves in at prestigious Glasgow business address
Accountants and business advisor Alexander Sloan has relocated its Glasgow office at Cadogan Street to the seventh floor of 180 St Vincent Street.
The firm has signed a 10-year lease for 5,082 sq ft of space, including a large balcony with views to the south of Glasgow City Centre.
The building is one of Glasgow’s most sought after business addresses and owners Northwood Regional UK recently oversaw a major refurbishment over five vacant floors together with transforming the main reception area.
Existing tenants at One80 include Xodus Group and EBV Electronic.
Philip Morrice, managing partner at Alexander Sloan, added: “We’re excited to be the latest tenants at One80 St Vincent Street. The building has been impeccably finished and clearly designed with modern business tenants in mind. The core city centre location was also a major consideration, to be alongside liked minded professional companies, accessible to a wide array of city centre amenities and nearby transport connections. Repositioning our business on Glasgow’s prime business street made complete sense.”
Building JLL acted jointly with Ryden to let the space on behalf of its owners.
Claire Watson from JLL in Scotland, said: “Glasgow’s office market has struggled to find supply to meet demand in recent times, thanks mainly to a lack of new developments in the city centre. The refurbishment of One80 St Vincent Street goes some way to redress this balance, providing high quality, centrally located business space where it is needed the most. Alexander Sloan, having signed up for a ten year lease can be confident that they’ve secured one of Glasgow’s most sought after business addresses which we expect will continue to draw significant interest from occupiers.”
