Agilis Health acquires RelyOn Nutec for six-figure sum
Fife-based healthcare screening and diagnostics firm Agilis Health has acquired the UK occupational health division of global safety training and competency company, RelyOn Nutec.
The firm has now over the delivery of the corporate health services at RelyOn Nutec’s training centres in Aberdeen and Teesside.
Five employees, including nurses and physicians, have transferred across to work for Agilis, to ensure a smooth and effective transition period for our current clients.
Agilis Health said it is “incredibly proud” of how much it has grown over the last few years, after launching in 2020 and initially being focussed on COVID-19 PCR, antigen analysis, and international travel.
The firm has grown to be a seven-figure turnover business, delivering a fully managed service on an international basis for occupational health, corporate health and wellbeing.
The partnership with RelyOn Nutec is a collaboration between two organisations focused on best practice in health and safety.
Mike Eriksen, Agilis Health chief executive, said: “Taking on the management of the two clinics in Aberdeen and Teesside gives us a UK footprint as an occupational health and corporate health and wellbeing provider. RelyOn Nutec’s approach to best practice in the safety industry is a great match to our own business and service culture in the healthcare screening and diagnostic channel. I have no doubt that both companies and its customers can benefit significantly from this collaboration.
“We have enjoyed a hugely successful first two years in business and our cross border fully managed health and wellbeing service now offers a totally fresh approach for the corporate market to ensure that all personnel are fully compliant in terms of local, national and international health and safety. Operating from RelyOn Nutec’s UK centres allows companies and individuals to secure health screening and safety training in one place.”
Lee Fenton, commercial director at RelyOn Nutec (UK), added: “We are currently expanding our renewables offering and continuing to focus on our digital journey as our customers move through energy transition. The agreement with Agilis allows us to streamline our operations more efficiently and focus our staff where we need them the most, delivering market-leading workforce management solutions and advanced learning platforms.
“Historically, our customers have been primarily oil and gas focused but as we move into new sectors, they now require greater flexibility in terms of both location and the services on offer. This partnership will ensure that they continue to receive the same high standard of occupational health support whilst having access to additional corporate wellbeing services across the whole of the UK.”
