Administrate raises £5m to transform global training operations
Edinburgh-based enterprise training platform Administrate has secured a £5 million investment round from current backers Archangels, Mercia, and the Scottish National Investment Bank, with Hambro Perks joining the round as a fresh capital partner.
The funding will fuel Administrate’s rapid expansion and better serve its increasing North American enterprise customer base.
Administrate, recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing tech firms by global advisory firm GP Bullhound, offers a scheduling and logistics platform for global brands. These companies utilise Administrate’s solutions to streamline their training operations.
Customers typically see an 80% decrease in manual activities post-implementation of the platform. The firm’s novel AI-powered scheduler has seen heightened customer demand over the past six months.
Hambro Perks, known for their support of burgeoning scale-up firms focusing on B2B SaaS, led the recent deal.
Usman Ali, Partner at Hambro Perks Growth Debt Fund, said that “backing Administrate was an easy decision”, given its innovative approach and consistent delivery of double-digit growth within the enterprise customers segment.
Mr Ali added: “Their platform is well suited to the needs of large corporations that operate in multiple geographies. We strongly believe that the business has tremendous growth potential and we look forward to seeing the business expand in the coming years.”
Niki McKenzie, joint managing director at Archangels, echoed Mr Ali’s sentiments. He said: “With an impressive roster of customers on their books, this new funding package will allow the team to accelerate growth, particularly stateside, where they have seen significant growth among large multinational corporations.
“We’re looking forward to working closely with the team on this next exciting chapter of their story.”
John Peebles, CEO of Administrate, added: “Our team has done an incredible job delivering for our customers. Our capital partners understand the unique opportunity ahead of us, and we’re excited to continue building on our success in a sustainable way.
“I’m proud of some of the key innovations we’re launching within our platform this year which include our AI-powered scheduler and significant improvements to our headless architecture strategy. These tools within our platform can transform training operations and drive significant ROI for our customers in unprecedented ways.”
