Adam & Co rehires Cowan
Banking industry veteran Chris Cowan is returning to Royal Bank of Scotland’s Adam & Company subsidiary.
The Edinburgh-based wealth manager announced that Mr Cowan will take up the role of the firm’s new private banking director and will be based in the capital.
He rejoins Adam & Co, which was founded in 1983 and has about £1.3 billion of assets under management, following stints at Barclays and most recently Hampden & Co, where he has been for the past two years.
He said: “I have over 26 years’ experience in private banking, and am looking forward to returning to where it all started for me, back at Adam & Co. I am committed to providing a high quality of service to my clients and can’t wait to get started.”
Alisdair Dewar, Market Leader for Scotland at Adam & Co, added: “Chris comes with a wealth of insight and we are delighted that he is re-joining the team here today. We have a hugely experienced and highly valued team at Adam and look forward to welcoming Chris back in to the fold.”
