Aberdeen-based accountancy firm Infinity Partnership has been shortlisted four times at the prestigious 2024 Accounting Excellence Awards.

The firm is a finalist in three categories – Mid-Tier Firm of the Year (above £3m), Client Service Award, and Client Transformation Award.

Managing partner Simon Cowie is also a finalist for Practice Leader of the Year, meaning he is going for a hat-trick of wins at the London ceremony later this year. He won this award last year and, in 2022, was named Practice Pioneer.

The awards celebrate outstanding contributions and innovation in the accounting profession. This year’s event received a record number of entries and winners will be announced at London’s Roundhouse in Camden on 8 October.

The Accounting Excellence Awards are judged by some of the most respected names in the profession. The judging line-up this year featured past presidents of the ICAEW, CIOT and ATT and senior leaders from AAT, ACCA, AIA, ICAS and ICB.

Simon said: “We are honoured to be shortlisted in four categories, which reflects the exceptional service we provide across accountancy, tax, business advice and other services that all go towards making a tangible difference to our clients.

“This recognition is a testament to our team’s collective efforts, and I am pleased that our hard work has been acknowledged. Additionally, I’m delighted to be nominated once again for a prestigious individual award. This recognition underlines the continued success at Infinity, and we are look forward to the awards night.”

Earlier this year, Infinity was named Boutique Accounting Firm of the Year at the inaugural Scottish Professional Awards 2024 in Glasgow.
