AAB moves to ‘prime location’ after outgrowing old digs
Aberdeen-based accountants Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB) has this week completed the move from its central base at 9 Queens Road to their new purpose built headquarters at the Prime Four Business Park in Kingswells on the outskirts of the Granite City.
The firm said that it has outgrown 9 Queens Road having only moved in August 2009 and said the Kingshill View site will now provide it with a “world-class platform” to help it serve its growing client base.
AAB said a collaborative working environment was a key requirement for Kingshill View and the 45,000 square feet of office accommodation at the new HQ has capacity for over 350 staff, allowing plenty of room for growth of AAB’s current headcount (circa 240), set to increase by a further 20 when the firm’s student placement and graduate trainees join in August.
A statement from AAB said: “The layout of Kingshill View, along with the state-of-the-art technology, fantastic meeting spaces and the flexibility and openness of the building will enhance team working and operational improvement.”
AAB also said the new hub will assist staff working across 37 service areas to focus on innovation and be better placed to support their client’s ambitions by pioneering integrated advisory solutions in partnership with them.
Managing Partner Graeme Allan said: “This outstanding development will allow us to continue to grow and develop our business and provide our staff with a contemporary and collaborative working environment which is second to none. Our thanks go to all of our development partners who have been involved in designing, building, furnishing and decorating the building, we are delighted with the outcome and extremely excited to call this fantastic building the home of AAB.”
AAB announced their plans to move to Prime Four business park back in October 2014 and work officially began on the site in Spring 2015.
