Alex Matthews, Lesley Fordyce, Mark Bell and Bill Kane of AAB Consulting

Anderson Anderson & Brown Consulting Limited (AAB Consulting), the consulting arm of accountancy firm Anderson Anderson & Brown LLP (AAB), has announced three key senior leadership appointments within the specialist public sector arena.

Lesley Fordyce joins as managing director, alongside Mark Bell and Alex Matthews as directors.

Ms Fordyce, who has a wealth of knowledge modernising services and supporting changes that restructure our public bodies, works with leadership teams to transform public services, both in Scotland and across the UK.

AAB said she brings a “passion for customer service and the design and delivery of locally-owned change”.

Mr Bell’s area of expertise centres around economic development, focusing on helping governments across Europe help businesses and sectors to grow.

In particular, he designs and delivers nationally significant business support programmes, bringing together the respective strengths of both the public and private sectors to improve outcomes for the public purse.

And Mr Matthews specialises in working with health and social care organisations and the wider Scottish public sector, to transform public services by developing digital strategies, initiating digital transformation programmes, building digital skills and capabilities, and leading Agile teams to develop new digital services.

Bill Kane, chief executive of AAB Consulting said: “We are delighted to welcome Lesley, Mark and Alex to the business. Each of them bring outstanding skills and expertise which add a new dimension and further diversity to our team. We have already experienced demand for our services from organisations within the public sector and our new colleagues enhance our ability to help them achieve their objectives by delivering value added consulting projects, in particular helping clients find their way from the pre-digital to the post-digital age. We are very confident that all three will play a significant part in helping us deliver on our growth plan to build a £5 million revenue consulting business from Scotland within 3 years.”
