Standard Life Aberdeen buys back £238m in shares from Goldman Sachs

Standard Life AberdeenStandard Life Aberdeen has bought back shares worth £238 million from Goldman Sachs as part of its £1.75 billion buy-back programme.

A total of 939,492 ordinary shares were bought from Goldman Sachs at an average price of £2.52p, insider.co.uk reports.

The investment company announced a £1.75 billion shares buy-back at its AGM last year.

A total of £1 billion will be returned to shareholders through a “B share scheme” and £750 million through a share buyback programme.
