RSM strengthens Aberdeen team with four new appointments

Audit, tax and consulting firm RSM has strengthened its Aberdeen office with four key appointments in tax and financial reporting - bringing wider expertise to the team.

Andrew Good has joined RSM as an associate director in the tax team; while Scott Allan joins as a corporate tax manager. In addition, employment tax and financial reporting specialists Neil Bridgeford and Irina Cheburdanidze, respectively, have relocated to Aberdeen, further strengthening the team.

Andrew Good has joined RSM from SBP Accountants; having previously worked at Johnston Carmichael where he managed the personal tax teams in Aberdeen and Inverurie; advising a range of individuals and owner managed businesses. Prior to working in practice, he spent 18 years working at HMRC; so, brings a wealth of experience to the growing tax team at RSM.



Scott Allan has joined from an international business advisory firm working with a range of clients from owner-managed businesses to public limited companies. Prior to this, Scott worked for various large organisations in the oil and gas and engineering industries.

Associate director Neil Bridgeford has relocated from RSM in Manchester to Aberdeen. As an employment tax specialist, he has a wealth of expertise of PAYE health checks, Employment Status Reviews and advising on IR35 Off Payroll Working Rules.

Irina Cheburdanidze has also moved to cover the Scottish Region accounting and financial reporting services in a wider role from RSM Leeds where she has worked since 2014 and has more than 14 years’ experience supporting clients with technical and compliance issues. Irina has in-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) including restructuring, complex financial instruments and mergers and acquisitions.
