Perthshire-based law firm Macnabs has announced a series of appointments as it celebrates the opening of its new office in Bridge of Allan this month.

The firm has appointed partner Rachael MacDonald, and has promoted Sarah Mitchell who will also take up the position of partner within the firm.

The opening of the office brings the total number of Macnabs offices throughout Perthshire to four.



Ms MacDonald, who joined the firm from Harper Macleod, is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in family law and is renowned for her expertise in high-net-worth financial provision on divorce cases, as well as having vast experience in the negotiation of pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation issues and child-related matters, including relocation.

Sarah Mitchell started her journey at Macnabs as a trainee almost 10 years ago, before progressing through the ranks to Solicitor then Associate and has now assumed her role as a Partner in the Private Client Team. She is focused on helping clients with estate and succession planning and executry administration, as well as Wills and Powers of Attorney, and is instrumental in the firm’s involvement with Will Aid.

Macnabs, which has four offices, has been advising the people of Perthshire and beyond since 1880, and has a strong reputation for offering clients practical solutions to all their legal problems.
