Johnston Carmichael appoints new marketing director

Scottish accountancy firm Johnston Carmichael has announced the appointment of a new marketing director.

The company, which is headquartered in Edinburgh, said Gemma Spiers would take on a firm wide remit which will see her responsible for shaping and delivering Johnston Carmichael’s strategic marketing operations across its 11 Scottish locations.

JC said Ms Spiers, who will report directly to CEO Sandy Manson, has a decade long track record in corporate marketing, initially working in the financial services industry before joining Deloitte where she spent more than six years.



In that time she rose the ranks to become the marketing strategy lead for Scotland and Northern Ireland, managing a team across three locations.
