Scottish law firm Gillespie Macandrew has announced the promotion of Claire Kinnaird and Emma Doig to tax manager and tax senior respectively.

The two, alongside the seven lawyers who have also been promoted at the firm, took up their new roles on March 1 2021.

Ashley McCann, Austin Burns and Patrick Munro have been promoted to associate and David Halligan, Gillian Wilson, Melissa Strachan and Susan Henretty are promoted to senior solicitor.

Gillespie Macandrew said the promotions recognise the depth of talent across the firm’s Dispute Resolution, Energy & Strategic Land, Land & Rural Business and Private Client and Tax teams.

Robert Graham-Campbell, CEO, said: “It is a privilege every year to announce our internal promotions but this year we feel particularly proud given the challenges of the past year. These promotions demonstrate our continued growth and investment in people across the firm.”

The firm has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth and advises clients on all areas of land and rural business, private client, commercial real estate, energy, tax and disputes, combining a personal approach with industry-leading expertise.
