Food and drink specialist joins Baker Tilly in Scotland

Accountancy firm Baker Tilly has appointed food and drink specialist Stuart McCallum as a Director in its Scottish practice.

Mr McCallum, who will be based in Glasgow, will further strengthen the firm’s sector team which encompasses agriculture, hospitality/tourism and food and drink, reflecting the increasing convergence and collaboration across these vitally important sectors to the Scottish economy.

The firm said he will support clients with accounting and business advisory needs, ranging from the development of year end accounts and management information to advising on M&A plans, securing funding for growth projects and day to day financial needs.



He will also contribute to Baker Tilly’s corporate finance services covering advisory and due diligence for companies, banks and equity houses.

An ICAS qualified chartered accountant, Mr McCallum joins Baker Tilly from Clydesdale Bank, where he was a director of corporate & acquisition finance for the West of Scotland and also head of food and drink for scotland.

Prior to joining Clydesdale, he held a number of corporate finance posts including at Baker Tilly, RBS and boutique firm Craig Corporate.
