Former Hearts footballer Conrad Balatoni has set up his own financial sector practice, Conrad Balatoni Wealth Management, which is a representative of St James’s Place Wealth Management.

The new practice, headed by Mr Balatoni, will provide face-to-face wealth management advice to private and corporate clients in and around Edinburgh.

Mr Balatoni will help clients with retirement planning, protection policies, investment planning, savings and inheritance tax planning.

St James’s Place Wealth Management said Mr Balatoni decided to step away from full-time football after 12 years of playing to embark on a new career where the skills he learnt in a sporting environment could be maximised to help to build a business based on long-lasting relationships.

Mr Balatoni said via his LinkedIn profile: “After 11 years of being a professional footballer I am excited to be starting a new career as a wealth manager.

“I chose St. James’s Place Wealth Management because they are a leading U.K wealth management company who will give me the best backing possible in years to come.

“I provide face to face advice while building long-lasting relationships that make my clients feel at ease as we help to achieve their financial goals and dreams.”
