The move is part of further investment into the firm’s Highland office which has seen significant growth in clients and staff numbers since opening three years ago.

Jackie Fraser became the firm’s first Inverness recruit and led the opening of the new premises in 2016 and was soon joined by Shona Fraser, a former colleague from the Inverness office of a global accountancy firm.

Since that time, the two have built a team of eight and are currently in the process of recruiting two additional colleagues.

In March, the Inverness operation moved into a larger 1200 square foot office space in the city’s Fairways Business Park to accommodate the growing team.

C+T offers a broad spectrum of tax and business advice to its Highland clients, including support for high growth companies through its award-winning Entrepreneurial Tax team.

These latest promotions bring the firm’s partner numbers up to 13, including six female partners.

Carol Flockhart, managing partner at C+T, said: “Jackie and Shona’s partnership promotions are a deserved reward for the hard work, energy and entrepreneurial spirit they have shown in building the firm’s successful practice across the Highlands.”

Jackie Fraser added: “The last three years have been a whirlwind of success. It’s been deeply satisfying to see all our hard work and energy converted into a successful operation that is growing year on year.”

Shona Fraser said: “As two professionals with a long track record within the city’s business community, Jackie and I were confident that Inverness was an ideal market for Chiene + Tait to target. Three years on we continue to build on the strong foundation we’ve now established across the Highlands.”
