Cameron Hume Ltd announces two senior hires

Edinburgh-based investment manager Cameron Hume Ltd has announced two senior appointments, with Brian Jack taking up the role as head of money markets and Andy Kelly joining the team as business development manager.

By hiring Mr Jack, the company is expanding its offering to clients by launching a cash business. Mr Jack, who was formerly head of treasury at Kames Capital, has been appointed to run this new project.

He has a proven track -record of establishing and growing cash and short duration fixed income businesses at Ignis and SWIP, Bdaily News reports.



Mr Kelly has extensive experience in the industry having held senior positions in Barclays, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, Legal & General Investment Management and Kames Capital, where he held the role of head of liquidity sales for three years.

Mr Jack said: “I was keen to join Cameron Hume because it rightfully treats cash as a natural extension of fixed income, it focuses solely on fixed income and aims to do it really well.
