Bellrock Technology appoints Hugh Lennie as chief financial officer

Glasgow-based data analytics firm Bellrock Technology has appointed Hugh Lennie as its new chief financial officer.

The firm has also appointed Dave McConachie as its new chief commercial officer.

The highly experienced pair have taken up their roles as the company gears up for the next stage release of its revolutionary data science delivery platform, Lumen.



They will work alongside Bellrock Technology co-founders, chief executive Adam Brown and chief technology officer Professor Stephen McArthur, plus new chair Steve Langmead who was appointed last month.

Hugh Lennie, a chartered accountant, brings close to 40 years’ experience to Bellrock Technology having held senior positions with Murray International Group, Weston Transport and Digital Sports Arena, among others. He has worked across a wide range of sectors, including technology, manufacturing, engineering, IT and computer gaming.

He said: “This is a very exciting time for Bellrock Technology. The company has a product in Lumen which is accelerating the exploitation of data science to enable more effective business decisions. I’m delighted to be part of a Scottish company that is taking its groundbreaking new technology into a host of new markets.”

Dave McConachie, who specialises in growing entrepreneurial high growth companies with ambition and potential to scale and expand in their markets, brings more than 30 years’ experience of sales and client acquisition to the business.

This will enable automation, reduced cost and data-driven decisions.
