Citi has promoted Anne-Maree Tassell as the new head of operations and technology for EMEA

Ms Tassell was formerly the head of operations and technology for Australia and New Zealand, she will now relocate to London for the new role, reporting to Stuart Riley, head of ICG O&T.

Citi said that her responsibilities will include senior management of operations in Britain, cross-product and geography oversight and delivery, and the assessment and delivery of operational resilience.

Ms Tassell is due to start her new role on the 1st of October, subject to regulatory approval. Together, Adela Radulesco and Ganesh Vijaypurkar, will undertake the role in the interim.

Ms Tassell has been employed by Citi since 2000, before this, she spent five years at asset manager Schroders, as manager of fixed income settlements.
