An arrest warrant has been issued for Africa’s wealthiest preacher on charges of fraud and money laundering.
Millionaire Shepherd Bushiri has fled South Africa for his home country of Malawi with his wife while on bail, the BBC reports.
The famous preacher, who has filled stadiums with his fans, has been linked to fraud totalling 102 million South Africa rand (around £5 million).
The investment fraud concerns his Enlightened Christian Gathering chain of churches.
