And finally… wage inflation

A lawyer who exaggerated her billings by up to 570 per cent to secure prestigious jobs with major London law firms has been struck off.

And finally... wage inflation

Tracey Ann Sheehan, 55, exaggerated her billings at Taylor Wessing to become an equity partner at Dentons in 2015, then did the same thing to move to Hill Dickinson in 2016 and 2017.

Her billings were overstated by between 177 per cent and 572 per cent, The Times reports.

She denied dishonesty and claimed the figures represented what she could have earned given the proper resources.

Dentons uncovered the behaviour after noticing a discrepancy between her earnings and purported historic performance and contacting Taylor Wessing.
