A pair of bank robbers made off on mountain bikes with a four-figure sum from a high street bank in Kirkcaldy, police say.
The robbers, who remain at large, used a handgun and a crowbar to seize the funds from a TSB branch.
CCTV images of the two wanted men have been released in an effort to track them down.
Detective Inspector Colin Robson of Fife Division Crime Management, who is leading the criminal investigation, said: “Today we have released images of the two men who we are very keen to speak with as part of our ongoing investigation into this armed robbery.
“Both men were observed on bicycles on Alford Avenue and I would be interested to hear from anyone who can help us establish their movements or identities.”
