And finally… tyred out

A German man has accidentally purchased 27 Teslas when trying to buy a new car.

And finally... tyred out

The buyer’s son, who goes by the name of Ballon-Man on Reddit, said that his father placed an online order for the brand new Tesla Model 3 with the autopilot option.

After choosing the model online, Ballon-Man’s clicked confirm, which leads to a €100 deposit being taken, but the website was unresponsive to his action. Ballon-Man’s father then clicked the button repeatedly for around two hours.

Eventually, the website responded to his action and upon checking his order status, the man’s father realised each of his 28 requests to order the car had been successfully submitted.

The man had paid €2,800 euros as a non-refundable deposit, DriveTribe reports. The order total came to €1,404,000.

Thankfully, Tesla cancelled all the orders and refunded the deposit to Ballon-Man’s dad.
